Hello Reader, Although I love building websites for their own sake, it's even better when I hear from a client that the new site has made a positive difference to their business and/or book sales. So it was a treat recently to catch up with author Lisa Manterfield. Lisa is the award-winning author of five novels and two works of non-fiction. We worked together to create her new Squarespace website, earlier this year. Lisa was ahead of the game in planning for the release of her latest novel, All Our Lies Are True, which hit the shelves yesterday! During our conversation, we talk about her experience of working with me, as well as the new book, a spellbinding tale of family secrets. (Scroll down for how you can win a signed copy.) Watch my interview with Lisa here:An established author, Lisa treats her writing as a business and allocates plenty of bandwidth for book marketing and connecting with readers. So you will also hear her thoughts and advice on:
And I've summarized key points from our conversation here for you, too. In the coming months, I'm planning a few more client interviews like this. So let me know what you think of this one, and what other behind-the-scenes videos I should make, to show what it's like to work with me. Obviously I won't offer any spoilers, but suffice to say, Lisa writes beautifully and this one is keeping me up past my bedtime. |

I love connecting with you in notes like these, but I want to be welcome in your inbox. If you're playing whack-a-mole with incoming messages, know there is an unsubscribe link at the bottom of all my notes. Warm wishes, Pauline #TLDR: Win the latest novel from my client and author Lisa Manterfield

After all, when I build a website, I...
